Welcome to the new Mardi Gras Memories site. Due to a series of unfortunate circumstances, health issues and other troubles of life, the Mardi Gras Memories site went down in 2023.

After much deliberation, we chose to start it fresh in 2024, rather than restore the old site at this point. We hope to recover and restore some of the old articles and photos that folks may want to see, but at this point, it will be new and fresh with older materials added as we are able.

It is our hope that the fresh start will please past readers as well as new readers we pick up along the way. Today was our first Mardi Gras parade on Dauphine Island. It was a beautiful day, but a bit chilly. More on that later!
