Tonight the Conde Cavaliers kicked off the 2024 Mardi Gras parades in Mobile, Alabama with their 2024 theme, “We Are The Champions.”

Various sports were represents from baseball to auto racing.

A float representing Joe Cain, one of the true heroes of Mobile Mardi Gras made an appearance. He championed the return of Mardi Gras in Mobile after the Civil War when Mobile was under Union occupation.

Nathan’s Hot Dogs also made an appearance, if, for no other reason than they are tasty and great with Baseball.

Lots of beads, Moon Pies, stuffed animals and other fun throws were flying all evening.

Smiles were on the multitude of faces in the crowd, well, except where they were busy eating the Moon Pies.

All around the Mardi Gras excitement flowed as the crowd got in the spirit. Happy parade goers with full sacks and happy hearts left the parade grounds after a wonderful evening by the Conde Cavaliers.
